This paper analyses heterogeneous forms of performance-based contracts for operating of capital goods. Starting point is a resource-based perspective focusing on the mutual integration of provider and purchaser resources to achieve an overarching performance target. Thus a framework of services provision is applied and extended in order to reflect different forms of resources provisioning and integration by the contracting parties.
