Abstract

The article discusses the necessity of improving the State primary special standard of the unit of pulsed electric voltage with a pulse duration from 4·10–11 to 1·10–5 s (GET 182-2010) on the basis of an electro-optical stroboscopic measuring apparatus. Proposed approaches for ensuring the uniformity of pulse measurements are aimed at developing a new system of measurements of pulse signal parameters traceable to ISO units and independent reproduction of reference ultra-wideband electrical pulses. The main challenges to be overcome in further research aimed at creating a domestic (Russian-made) electro-optical stroboscopic measuring apparatus are formulated.
