Abstract

The article focuses on the development and application of copolymer-grafted nano-silica particles for improving oil recovery in low-permeability reservoirs. It details the synthesis process, characterization using infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis, and evaluates the particles' viscosity, temperature and salt resistance, and shear resistance. The study also includes experiments to assess the enhanced oil recovery efficiency of these particles in low-permeability reservoirs, demonstrating their potential to significantly increase oil recovery rates even under harsh conditions. The findings suggest that these particles could revolutionize oil recovery techniques in challenging reservoirs.
