Abstract

The chapter begins by defining lower record values and their significance in different domains such as climate research, sports, and health. It introduces the concept of lower record values in hemoglobin analysis and discusses their importance in monitoring athlete health. The main focus is on developing a correlation formula between the occurring time and lower record values, which has not been previously addressed in statistical literature. The methodology section derives general and specific analytic expressions for this correlation, while the discussion section illustrates these expressions using hemoglobin data from Australian athletes. The chapter also explores the statistical properties of a bivariate probability model and its applications in data analytics. Additionally, it compares different frequency patterns for the hemoglobin data and discusses the implications of each pattern. The chapter concludes by highlighting the potential applications of lower record values in health and medical topics and suggesting future research directions.
