Abstract

The chapter introduces a novel Hierarchical Pseudo Label Domain Adversarial Network (HPLDAN) for cross-domain bearing fault diagnosis. It addresses the challenges of variable operating conditions and high manual labeling costs by employing transfer learning and pseudo-labeling techniques. The proposed method divides target domain samples into three levels based on pseudo labels and uses different training methods for each level to achieve class-level alignment. The results demonstrate that HPLDAN outperforms existing methods in various cross-domain diagnostic tasks, particularly in challenging conditions. The chapter also includes visualizations and ablation experiments to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
