Abstract

The rapid advancement in digital photography has led to an increased risk of unauthorized access and misuse of image data. Traditional image encryption algorithms, although effective, face challenges with the advent of quantum computing. This article introduces a quantum-classical hybrid image encryption scheme that leverages quantum walks, Henon maps, and Arnold Cat maps to enhance image security. By directly calculating pixel ratios and using them as parameters, the proposed method eliminates the need for image encoding and multiple quantum walk operations, achieving an approximate 'one-time pad' effect. The scheme demonstrates strong resistance against statistical attacks, noise attacks, and differential attacks, making it a robust solution for securing image data in the quantum era.
