This chapter presents the development of a damage index (DI) for masonry infilled reinforced concrete (RC) frame structures, crucial for assessing seismic damage. The study utilizes the Park-Ang index, calibrated with experimental data, to quantify damage ranging from minor cracking to severe collapse. A multi-strut model simulates the response of RC frames with infill walls, providing accurate damage assessment under seismic forces.
