Zusammenfassung

Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit dem Zusammenhang von Flow-Erleben und Resilienz, sowie den Faktoren, die Einfluss auf diesen Zusammenhang nehmen. Flow bezeichnet dabei einen Zustand, in dem Individuen völlig in einer Aufgabe aufgehen, die sie optimal beansprucht. Flow wird mit erhöhter Selbstwirksamkeitserwartung und positiven Emotionen assoziiert, welche wiederum Einfluss auf den Aufbau von Resilienz nehmen können. Die theoretischen Annahmen zum Flow-Erleben als Strategie zum Umgang mit Stress und als resilienzförderlicher Faktor werden in einem Modell zusammengetragen und durch empirische Studien untermauert. Es werden Handlungsempfehlungen zur Förderung von Flow im Arbeitsalltag gegeben, welche sich den Ebenen des Individuums, der Aufgabe und des organisationalen und sozialen Umfelds zuordnen lassen.
