Heute hungern auf der Welt etwa 800 Mio. Menschen, ungefähr 600 Mio. in Asien und 200 Mio. in Afrika. Jeder Zehnte hat täglich weniger zu essen als das Minimum von 1400 Kilokalorien. Ebenso viele haben viel zu wenig Trinkwasser sowie zu wenig Elektrizität und sanitäre Einrichtungen. Nur ein Viertel der Erdbevölkerung in 57 von 195 Ländern hat ständig sauberes Trinkwasser. Wie kann man diese Mängel beheben? Wie wird man dann erst die 2 Mrd. Menschen versorgen, die in einer Generation noch dazu kommen?
