Zusammenfassung

Die Covid-19-Pandemie hat gezeigt, dass eine globale Krise im Gesundheitswesen langfristig massive wirtschaftliche, soziale und psychologische Probleme verursachen kann. Angesichts der Folgen von Covid-19 mit zahlreichen Toten und langfristigen Gesundheitsproblemen auf der ganzen Welt ist uns eines bewusst geworden: Es ist eine Sache, eine hochleistungsfähige Life-Science-Industrie aufzubauen, die etablierten Unternehmen und Start-up-Firmen in dieser Branche bessere Bedingungen bietet – aber es gibt auch andere wichtige Faktoren. Beispielsweise die Geschwindigkeit der Datenerfassung, um aufzuzeigen, was passiert, sobald eine lokale, nationale oder globale Krise im Gesundheitswesen beginnt, sowie die Fähigkeit der Industrie, Produkte zu entwickeln und zu liefern, die die Sicherheit der Bevölkerung gewährleisten.
