Abstract

The article introduces a modified SEPIC DC-DC converter designed for renewable energy applications. The converter incorporates switched inductor and capacitor cells to achieve high voltage gain and continuous input current. It operates in both Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) and Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM), with detailed steady-state analysis provided for each. The converter's performance is validated through simulation and experimental results, showcasing its efficiency and robustness under varying conditions. The paper also discusses the impact of parasitic parameters on the converter's output voltage and power loss, providing a thorough examination of its design and operational advantages.
