Abstract

The article explores the design and simulation of an organic–inorganic GO/P3HT/MASnI3 solar cell using SCAPS-1D software. It emphasizes the critical role of engineers in solar energy innovation and the potential of MASnI3 as a lead-free perovskite. The study utilizes numerical simulation to optimize parameters such as temperature, thickness, doping concentration, and operational resistances. The results indicate that increasing the thickness of the GO and MASnI3 layers significantly enhances device performance. The optimized solar cell achieves a remarkable power conversion efficiency of 35.63%, highlighting the promising potential of GO and MASnI3 in optoelectronics and light energy conversion. The article also discusses future research directions and limitations, making it a valuable resource for professionals in solar cell technology.
