Abstract

The traditional production of functionalized graphene must use many chemicals. Environmental protection and low pollution have begun to be emphasized along with the requirements for environmental protection and green products. The production methods of functionalized graphene are based on the hydrothermal method. Fewer chemicals are used in the treatment, and the environmental impact is small. The hydrothermal method is a simple process and can reduce costs. This work was to develop functionalized graphene powders using the hydrothermal method, which can be used for heat dissipation on computers or mobile phones. This method can effectively enhance the oxygen functional groups. The experimental XPS data can verify the effectiveness of the method. Taguchi's analysis can further verify the accuracy of the XPS data. The optimum oxygen functional group enhancement value is obtained by baking at 130 °C for 6 h. From the experimental results of the thermal paint, the heat dissipation effect of the heat sink can be made more significant through the graphene thermal paint. In the chip’s heat dissipation market, graphene has a great advantage in the heat dissipation effect. The graphene thermal paint can be used in the chip's heat dissipation, and the chip's efficiency will be enhanced.
