Abstract

The chapter delves into the development and testing of a hydrotronic control system for a prototype test bench designed to evaluate vibration isolation systems. It covers the classification and performance of various vibration excitation devices, focusing on electrohydraulic systems due to their superior performance. The study involves the construction and simulation of a virtual prototype of the hydrotronic drive system using standard elements in Simcenter Amesim software. Key aspects include modeling the proportional directional valve dynamics, determining PID controller settings, and addressing issues like valve dead zones. The chapter highlights the challenges faced and innovative solutions implemented, such as using an additional valve to correct dead zone effects and optimizing PID settings for stable operation.
