Abstract

The article delves into the development of eco-friendly boron carbide coatings from natural carbon precursors, specifically for corrosion resistance in electronic applications. It highlights the synthesis process using hydrothermal methods and the characterization of these coatings through various analytical techniques. The study focuses on the application of these coatings on mild steel substrates, demonstrating their effectiveness in reducing corrosion. The authors also discuss the influence of different sputtering powers on the coating's properties and their ability to protect electronic devices from environmental factors. The research shows promising results in the use of boron carbide for high-performance field-effect transistors and capacitors, making it a notable advancement in the field of corrosion-resistant materials.
