Abstract

The chapter delves into the development of ergonomic sportswear for futsal players, focusing on thermal body mapping to understand the changes in body temperature during various training activities. By using infrared thermography, the study observes the skin temperature of players wearing polyester clothing during different types of training sessions. The results indicate significant differences in temperature changes across various body zones, highlighting the need for personalized clothing designs based on training intensity. The research emphasizes the importance of adjusting clothing construction and fit to meet ergonomic requirements, paving the way for highly-ergonomic outfits that enhance athletic performance and comfort.
