Abstract

The article discusses the development of a hierarchical two-stage constrained spectral clustering algorithm to improve the resiliency of power distribution networks under zonal attacks. It highlights the importance of clean energy generation and the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources in the power system. The algorithm is validated using the IEEE 123 test distribution system, demonstrating its effectiveness in maintaining system stability and reliability during zonal attacks. The proposed methodology is further validated through real-time experiments using the OPAL-RT platform, showcasing its practical applicability. The article concludes with a discussion on future work, including the integration of advanced machine learning techniques and decentralized computing frameworks.
