Aber für 2028 plant die Europäische Union im Rahmen des Programms "VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA)" die verbindliche Vorgabe, dass Verwaltungen und Unternehmen in den Mitgliedstaaten die elektronische Rechnung umsetzen müssen. Perspektivisch seien dadurch allein in Deutschland Kosteneinsparungen von "circa 35 Milliarden Euro pro Jahr" möglich, schreibt Marcus Laube, CEO von Crossinx im Titelbeitrag dieser Ausgabe ab Seite 12.
