Abstract

The study investigates the differential responses of three widely cultivated pepper genotypes—Dolmalik, Carliston, and Maras—to salinity stress. It examines how varying salt concentrations affect seed germination, plant growth, and proline content, a key indicator of stress tolerance. The research highlights the significant impact of salinity on seed quality and plant development, offering valuable insights into the physiological mechanisms that underlie these responses. By comparing the performance of these genotypes under controlled conditions, the article sheds light on potential strategies for enhancing pepper cultivation in saline environments.
