Abstract

The study compares the effectiveness of diffusion quadruples and triples in determining interdiffusivities for fcc Co–Ni–Ta alloys. The 2D inverse scheme, based on Andersson and Ågren’s proposal, deduces interdiffusivities by utilizing diffusion triple techniques, covering a broader composition range with less experimental effort. The article validates this scheme by comparing it with traditional methods and demonstrates its reliability in handling complex alloy combinations, making it a significant advancement in high-throughput diffusion studies.
