6. Digitale B2B-Plattformökosysteme für Produzierende Unternehmen

Anwendungsbereiche und Beispiele entlang der Wertschöpfungskette

Zusammenfassung

Eine zentrale Frage für Entscheiderinnen und Entscheider in Business-to-Business (B2B)-Märkten ist, welche Anwendungsfelder für Plattform-Geschäftsmodelle existieren. Dieser Beitrag hat das Ziel, Anwendungsfelder von B2B-Plattformen entlang der Wertschöpfungskette aufzuzeigen. Hierfür wird eine explorative Fallstudienmethodik angewandt. Die identifizierten Fälle werden den einzelnen Schritten der Wertschöpfungskette zugeordnet, um so die Anwendungsfelder von B2B-Plattformen zu definieren. Zudem werden die Anwendungsfelder durch die Fallstudien angereichert, um die theoretischen Erkenntnisse durch praktische Beispiele zu ergänzen. In Forschung und Entwicklung können Plattformen dabei unterstützen, auf Ressourcen und Expertenwissen Dritter zurückzugreifen und Daten auszutauschen. In der Eingangslogistik erlauben Plattformen eine effiziente Suche von Lieferanten und bilden Transaktionen mit Logistikdienstleistern und Lieferanten ab. Die Sammlung und Auswertung von Daten in der Produktion erlaubt eine Optimierung von Produktions- und Wertschöpfungsprozessen. In der Ausgangslogistik können Logistikprozesse über Plattformen vereinfacht und aggregiert werden. In der Interaktion mit Kunden in Marketing und Vertrieb werden Transaktionen über Plattformen, beispielsweise Marktplätze, abgewickelt. Zuletzt ermöglichen Plattformen im Kundenservice den Austausch mit Geschäftspartnern sowie die vorausschauende Wartung auf Basis von Daten.
