Abstract

This chapter delves into the essential role of transmission line security in ensuring the stability and efficiency of power grids. It explores the integration of IoT technologies in smart grid systems, focusing on the monitoring of critical metrics such as sag and electric current. The text discusses the implementation of a Wi-Fi module connected to a mobile telnet application for real-time monitoring of load and theft alerts.
