Abstract

The more the diversity in an ecosystem, the better it can adapt to complex challenges. Are human organizations any different? Organizations have only recently begun to recognize that diversity has more to offer than exclusivity. Diversity brings a great range of perspectives, which makes it easier to spot opportunities for change. But it’s not enough to bring in ‘outsiders’: you need to listen to and learn from them.
