Dotykáče: Autoteatro-Inspired Digital Storytelling for Teenage Mobile Phone Use Reflection

Dotykáče is an innovative project that combines digital storytelling, performative arts, and educational principles to help teenagers reflect on their mobile phone habits. The project leverages the principles of autoteatro, a form of performance art where the audience becomes the performer, to create an interactive narrative experience. This experience is delivered through a mobile web application and a workshop designed to guide teenagers through a journey of self-reflection on their mobile phone usage. The app personifies the mobile device as a character, encouraging teenagers to explore their relationship with their phones in a unique and engaging way. The project also draws on the Montessori method and developmental psychology to support self-discovery and identity formation. Preliminary findings from a pilot workshop suggest that the project has the potential to foster self-awareness and critical thinking about digital well-being. The project is currently in the development phase, with plans to expand to different age groups and schools.
