The congress "Electric Powertrains and Energy Systems 2025" deals with the optimal interaction of traffic concepts, vehicles with futureproof powertrains and infrastructure. The focus of this congress is on topics that describe the change in vehicle powertrains as well as the technological solutions in the associated infrastructure up to the provision of primary energy. Political framework conditions and digital solutions will also be discussed.

A particular highlight of the congress is the joint discussion with a fishbowl character with the keynote speakers and the auditorium on the topic "Energy and mobility – how are global markets changing?". Another highlight is the ceremony of the "Sustainability Award in Automotive". The award, presented jointly by the ATZ|MTZ Group and consulting firm Arthur D. Little, honors outstanding examples of sustainable contributions to mobility.
The MTZ congress is aimed at executives and engineers as well as experts in industry, authorities, NGOs, and scientific institutes who are involved in powertrain development, the generation and distribution of hydrogen and electricity, the expansion and integration of the power grid, international markets, production networks, and supply chains.
