Abstract

The article introduces a groundbreaking approach to clustering functional brain connectivity data using dual-stream encoder neural networks with spectral constraint. This method addresses the limitations of traditional clustering algorithms and deep learning models by capturing both node-level and discriminative information. The proposed framework includes a Graph Convolutional Encoder, Hard Assignment Optimization Network, Decoder module, and Spectral Constraint module. Extensive experiments on seven brain disease datasets demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed method compared to traditional and deep learning clustering algorithms. The article highlights the innovative use of dual-stream encoders and spectral constraints to enhance clustering results, making it a valuable read for researchers and practitioners in the field of neuroscience and machine learning.
