Abstract

The article explores the development of durable fluorescent cotton textiles by incorporating tetrahydrothienoisoquinoline derivatives. These derivatives, synthesized through a three-step process, are applied to cotton fabrics to create materials that emit a green glow under UV light. The research demonstrates the potential of these textiles in various applications, such as military uniforms and law enforcement garments. The study also highlights the durability of the fluorescent properties, which remain intact after multiple washings, making these textiles a promising innovation in the textile industry.
