Abstract

The study investigates the dyeing behavior and mechanism of Crocein Orange G (COG) on carboxymethyl cotton fabric, focusing on the use of natural dyes and metal mordants. The research highlights the improved dyeing performance achieved through carboxymethylation of cotton fabric, which enhances its reactivity. The study also explores the effects of different mordants, pH levels, and dyeing processes on the K/S values and dyeing kinetics. Additionally, the thermodynamic aspects of the dyeing process are analyzed, providing a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing the dyeing performance of COG on carboxymethyl cotton fabric.
