Abstract

The article presents an in-depth dynamic analysis of a round-wheel compound bow model, building upon previous static models. By applying the principle of conservation of mechanical energy, it examines the force process after arrow release, assuming uniform mass distribution in limbs, string, and cables. The dynamic model includes parameters such as mass coefficients and angular velocities, calculating kinetic energies of various components. The study compares static and dynamic forces, revealing that dynamic forces, particularly on the string, are significantly higher. This analysis provides valuable insights for optimizing bow design and understanding potential damage points, making it a must-read for experts in bow dynamics and mechanical engineering.
