Abstract

The article tries to systematize the potential developments in the Public Sector, resulting from the evolution of e-government processes. These profound organizational changes will have significant impacts in many areas, such as the public ethics, the rationalization of public spending and the public accountability.
The structure of the article provides a two-part articulation: a methodological systematization related to the New Public Management Theory that is the due premise to the E-Government overview presentation, providing evidence on theoretical and empirical models.
