Abstract

The article delves into the challenges and solutions for improving the stability and performance of quantum-dot light emitting diodes (QLEDs) using PEDOT:PSS as a hole injection layer. It discusses the inherent disadvantages of PEDOT:PSS and the strategies employed to enhance its properties, focusing on the use of urea and IPA treatments to improve conductivity and surface morphology. The study shows that these treatments significantly enhance the efficiency and stability of QLEDs, offering a promising pathway for commercializing this advanced technology. The research provides a comprehensive analysis of the surface morphology and electro-optical properties of QLEDs, demonstrating the effectiveness of the modified PEDOT:PSS films in achieving high luminance and efficiency. The findings are supported by detailed experimental results, including current density-voltage-luminance characteristics and electroluminescence spectra, making the article a valuable resource for researchers and professionals in the field.
