Abstract

The study examines the effect of providing acceleration and deceleration information from both the preceding and pre-preceding vehicles on the fuel economy of a following vehicle during startup. Using a virtual driving environment, the research quantifies the impact of this information on driving behavior and fuel consumption. The results contribute to the development of eco-driving systems that can enhance fuel efficiency and promote sustainable driving practices.
