Abstract

In order to meet the stricter friction performance requirements of large machinery in the application field of slewing bearing, 42CrMo steel is taken as the research object. Through the preparation of smooth surface, groove textured surfaces with different densities and deposited Sn-Ag-Cu (SAC) solid lubricants, the tribological properties of samples with different surface treatments were, respectively, studied under the grease lubrication. The results show that the design of grooves can effectively alleviate the secondary damage of wear debris on the sample surfaces. Under the grease lubrication, the sample with SAC deposited on the surface has the smallest friction coefficient and deformation, which is mainly attributed to the synergistic effect among grooves, solid lubricants, and grease.
