Abstract

The article delves into the intricate mechanisms of up-conversion luminescence in NaYF4:Er3+/Yb3+ phosphors, focusing on the dynamic tuning of the red-to-green emission ratio (R/G) under various excitation conditions. By manipulating the power density, pulse width, and frequency of a 980 nm laser, researchers have successfully adjusted the R/G ratio. Furthermore, the introduction of Mn2+ ions into the phosphors has been shown to significantly alter the energy transfer processes, thereby enhancing the red emission intensity. These findings have promising applications in advanced fields such as anti-counterfeiting and information storage, offering innovative solutions for high-level optical encryption.
