Abstract

The study investigates the influence of stress concentration on the tensile deformation of AZ31 magnesium sheets containing perforated cylindrical voids of different shapes and sizes. It examines how the shape and spatial arrangement of these voids affect mechanical properties under external stress. By proposing a modified constitutive model that includes the plastic zone formed by stress concentration, the research aims to improve the accuracy of theoretical predictions. The article also highlights experimental results that validate the model's effectiveness in describing the behavior of materials with internal defects.
