Abstract

The article delves into the synthesis and characterization of lead-free perovskite ceramics, specifically Sr1-xNax(Sn0.25Ti0.75)1-xNbxO3 (0.6 ≤ x ≤ 0.9), prepared via solid-state synthesis. It examines the structural properties through XRD and SEM, revealing a single-phase tetragonal structure. The dielectric studies highlight the transition from classical ferroelectric to relaxor behavior as the composition varies, with relaxor behavior characterized by diffuse phase transitions and frequency dispersion. The ferroelectric hysteresis measurements confirm the ferroelectric nature of the ceramics. The study concludes that these ceramics show promise for lead-free dielectric and energy-related applications, offering temperature-stable permittivity and relaxor behavior.
