Abstract

The article investigates the influence of impregnation solution conditions and heat treatment on the activity of hydrotreating catalysts. It highlights the crucial role of heteropolyanions, such as Keggin and Dawson types, in determining catalyst performance. The study emphasizes the need for precise control of temperature during solution preparation to avoid deleterious effects on catalyst activity. Additionally, it underscores the importance of using high-quality cobalt carbonate to prevent the formation of inactive phases. The research offers valuable insights into optimizing catalyst preparation to enhance desulfurization efficiency in the hydrotreating process.
