Abstract

The study investigates the effect of Ti/N ratio on the impact strength of high-strength pipe steel welded joints, focusing on the heat-affected zone. It examines the influence of chemical composition and thermophysical conditions on austenite grain growth and impact strength. The research highlights the significance of Ti/N ratio in controlling austenite grain size and phase composition, which in turn affects the brittle failure resistance of welded joints. Key findings include the identification of optimal Ti/N ratios for maximizing impact strength and the importance of selecting appropriate welding methods and heat treatment regimes. The article provides valuable insights into the microstructural changes and their impact on mechanical properties, offering practical recommendations for improving the performance of welded joints in high-strength pipe steels.
