Abstract

The article delves into the significance of Social Studies as a transformative subject in schools, addressing national issues and moral decadence. It highlights the challenges faced by teachers in effectively teaching Social Studies using traditional methods and the resulting poor performance among pupils. The study introduces digital storytelling as a innovative instructional strategy, examining the effects of two modes—Think-Pair-Share and Centralised Video-Based—on pupils' achievement in Social Studies. The research employs a quasi-experimental design to compare the effectiveness of these strategies across different age and gender groups, providing insights into how digital storytelling can enhance learning outcomes in Social Studies.
