“The former Reebok chief has promised to come up with nothing less than a,dramatic change of our business model’ in response to the company’s shock profit alert late on Thursday, when it emerged that Palm, one of the flagships of the technology boom, is running low on cash. Executives have been caught up in brainstorming ‘off-site’ meetings to form the new strategy. No decisions have been made yet. ‘This is a real-time work-in-progress’, said Judy Bruner, chief financial officer. […] Mr. Yankowski will have to come up with something special to reassure investors.”
