Das Verbundprojekt itsowl-ReSerW – „Ressourceneffiziente Selbstoptimierende Wäscherei“ war ein Leitprojekt im Rahmen des Spitzenclusters it’s OWL, der in der dritten Runde des BMBF-Spitzenclusterwettbewerbs ausgewählt wurde. Schwerpunkt des Spitzenclusters sind technische Systeme mit inhärenter Teilintelligenz, die auf veränderte Umweltbedingungen reagieren, ihr Verhalten selbstständig sowie situationsgerecht anpassen und mit anderen technischen Systemen weltweit im Cyber Space kommunizieren, verhandeln und kooperieren.
