Zusammenfassung

In einer monetären Wirtschaft führen Ausgaben zu Einkommen. Verkäufer werden durch die Auferlegung von Steuerpflichten geschaffen. Wir müssen zunächst Steuern erheben, um Verkäufer zu schaffen. Der erste Kauf in einem Zahlungssystem muss durch Schulden finanziert werden. Die Banken als Vertreter des Staates erzeugen (und vernichten) Zahlungsversprechen in staatlicher Währungseinheit. Für die weitere makroökonomische Analyse werden drei Sektoren unterschieden: der private, der öffentliche und der externe Sektor. Konjunkturzyklen bilden sich im Zeitablauf, von der Rezession zum Aufschwung zurück in die Rezession. Wirtschaftspolitik stabilisiert die Beschäftigung und die Produktion.
