Abstract

The article delves into the intricate properties of nano-crystalline Dy3+ substituted zinc–chromium ferrite, a material gaining significant attention due to its wide-ranging applications in electronics, aerospace, and defense. The study meticulously examines the structural aspects, elastic properties, and dielectric behavior of the ferrite, utilizing techniques such as X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and infrared spectroscopy. Notably, the research reveals how the substitution of Dy3+ ions enhances magnetic anisotropy and magnetization, while also influencing the material's elastic moduli and dielectric properties. The findings offer valuable insights into the potential of this material for high-frequency devices and other advanced technological applications, making the article a compelling read for specialists in the field.
