Following the A6 E-Tron Concept sedan, Audi has now presented the A6 Avant E-Tron Concept station wagon. This vehicle is also based on the all-electric PPE platform developed together with Porsche.

The battery-electric Audi A6 Avant measures 4.96 m in length, is 1.96 m wide and 1.44 m high. The values correspond to the current A6/A7 series. The cW value of the station wagon with the curved roofline is 0.24. Flat matrix LED headlights sit next to the shuttered single-frame, which can project a video game on a wall during a charging break, for example. LED projectors on all four corners of the vehicle also create turn signal projections. The study wears camera-based exterior mirrors on the A-pillar. The spoiler at the rear is color-contrasting, as is the eye-catching rear diffuser. The taillights use OLED technology.

The estate version of the A6 E-Tron is also based on the Premium Platform Electric. The battery placed between the axles offers around 100 kWh capacity in the Avant. The versions with electric motors on the front and rear axles generate Quattro all-wheel drive. The system output is put at 350 kW (476 PS). Maximum torque is applied at 800 Nm. The 800 V charging technology allows a maximum charging power of up to 270 kW at fast charging stations. This allows the battery to be charged from 5 to 80 % in around 25 min. Audi specifies a range of up to 700 km.
