Abstract

The article investigates the synthesis and characterization of electrospun poly(acrylonitrile) and poly(ethylene glycol) composite nanofibers containing Gd2O3 nanoparticles for energy storage applications. The study focuses on the development of solid-state lithium batteries, highlighting the advantages of the composite nanofibers in terms of ion conductivity, mechanical properties, and thermal stability. The article provides a detailed experimental methodology, including the preparation of Gd2O3 nanoparticles and the electrospinning process. It also presents comprehensive characterization results, such as X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and electrochemical analyses. The findings demonstrate that the incorporation of Gd2O3 nanoparticles significantly enhances the performance of the composite electrolyte membranes, making them promising candidates for next-generation solid-state lithium batteries.
