21. Emotionen in digitalen Transformations-Projekten – Bedeutung und Implikationen für das Organizational Change Management

Zusammenfassung

Die zunehmende Digitalisierung wird alle Lebensbereiche transformieren. Unternehmen müssen neue Geschäftsmodelle einführen und auch die Rollen und Verantwortlichkeiten der Mitarbeiter neu definieren. Die damit verknüpften Unsicherheiten über die Ausgestaltung dieses Prozesses führen zu einer verstärkten Emotionalisierung vieler Vorhaben und zu den strategischen Aufgaben müssen auch Ängste, Befürchtungen und auch Enthusiasmus adressiert werden. Obwohl einige Change-Management-Ansätze Kognition und Affektion berücksichtigen, ist noch keine Konzeptualisierung und Integration von Emotionen in Change-Management-Modellen erfolgt. Die folgenden Ausführungen geben einen Überblick über die einsetzende digitale Transformation, den Stand der Emotionsforschung und inwieweit Emotionen in Change-Management-Konzepten Eingang gefunden haben. Die Vorstellung von drei Instrumenten zur Integration von Emotionen in Change-Prozesse erlaubt die Ableitung von eingebetteten emotionsbasierten Interventionsstrategien. Den Abschluss bildet eine Reflektion zum Nutzen von emotionsbasierten Change-Konzeptualisierungen.
