Abstract

The article delves into the engineering geology and mechanism of multiple landslides in the Copper Mine in Qinghai Province, China. It highlights the unique challenges posed by the mine's high-latitude, cold climate, and permafrost conditions, as well as its steep slopes and poor rock mass quality. The study focuses on the formation process of large-scale landslide disasters, considering factors such as engineering geology, hydrogeology, and climatic conditions. The research provides a thorough analysis of the engineering geological rock groups, hydrogeological conditions, and failure forms of the slope. It also examines the impact of groundwater, freeze-thaw cycles, and blasting vibrations on slope stability.
