Abstract

The article introduces an advanced method for assessing water-inrush risk from underlying aquifers, focusing on the Qipanjing Coal Mine in Inner Mongolia, China. It addresses the limitations of traditional methods by integrating dynamic weight theory and uncertainty analysis models. The study identifies primary controlling factors influencing water-inrush risk and demonstrates the superiority of the new method through comparative analysis with traditional vulnerability index methods. The enhanced method shows remarkable accuracy in predicting water-inrush events, highlighting its practical value in guiding mine production activities.
