Abstract

The article explores the challenges and solutions for integrating PV systems into DC microgrids, focusing on the innovative Re Boost-Luo converter with coupled inductors. This converter promises higher efficiency, reduced size and weight, and improved voltage conversion ratios. The study also introduces a cascaded RNN MPPT control system, leveraging machine learning to optimize power extraction from PV panels. The proposed system is rigorously tested through MATLAB simulations and real-world prototypes, demonstrating resilience to environmental variations and superior performance compared to existing solutions. The article concludes with a comprehensive comparison of the proposed converter, highlighting its economic and operational advantages in sustainable energy applications.
