Abstract

The article delves into the application of social network analysis (SNA) to mine social media data for decision-making support. It presents a case study of a Portuguese airline's Facebook page during a strike, using SNA metrics to identify influential customers, measure responsiveness, and improve customer service. The study highlights the potential of SNA in enhancing call-center performance and customer satisfaction, offering valuable insights into the use of social media data in crisis management.
